Overview:
Torbay Camper Conversions is a niche converter in the South West of England. Their sporty styled, compact designs often appeal to young professionals or retired active couples.
Torbay use a variety of base vehicles, including the VW Caddy, Mercedes Vito, Fiat Scudo and Ducato.
New for 2008, the New Yorker is Torbays’ contender in the Hightop sector, using the medium wheelbase Fiat Ducato, offered with a number of base vehicle and conversion options.
Essentially a two berth, it features luxury accommodation with light woodwork, chrome style trimmings and is carpeted throughout (including the walls for insulation). There are three travelling seats, a comparatively large lounge area and rear kitchen/washroom.
