Auto-Sleepers Executive: Another long running motorhome model from Autosleepers, on Peugeot Boxer base chassis.  Early versions have 2.5 diesel normally aspirated or turbo charged engine, followed by 2.8HDi from 2000. Monocoque one-piece GRP (fibreglass) outer body shell for conversion.  Good standard of fixtures and fittings, including full kitchen, mains & gas heating with blown air.  Plenty of soft fabrics which generally wear well.  Lots of internal locker space.  Comfortable seating with adjustable backrests.  Tables stow neatly away.  Pleasant living space for two and a popular choice.

Points of note:
2.5 flat diesel dependable but sluggish and many were retro-fitted with a turbo – nothing wrong with this so long as it has been done properly.   Look for substandard repairs to GRP body, particularly rear corners.  Check elsewhere for cracking, including window surrounds.  Despite good reputation, monocoque shell does not guarantee completely against water ingress – check around windows, roof fittings and in washroom.  Side decals may be faded/stained, can be renewed. External paint finish may be faded and look ‘patchy’, can be improved by polishing. Check sliding bed mechanism.
